My Spring Break

C

ollege vacations are two months long in Japan. Spring break is so long that students can go somewhere to relax. Someone go on a journey, someone do nothing but just play. But my spring break was different from most the Japanese students.

During spring break I did not go anywhere I was busy working part-time. I have to pay for my school expenses by myself, so I had to work part-time. I was worked at a coffee shop in Hadano. I worked from Monday until Saturday and from 15:00 until 22:00 every day. It was really tiring for me, but I felt great satisfaction when I thought about how of I would be able continue working at my lessons in the university, because I believe that wisdom in the mind is better than money in the hands.

Besides that, I sometimes studied Japanese and sometimes I did not. Sometimes I just want to relax more, because I was so tired. I like to watch movies, but I dont like to go to the cinema, so I just rented some videos from the video shop. The videos really helped me relax, they made me very happy. At times I went to play basketball with my friends on campus. It was very exciting to play basketball.

I usually telephone my country once a week, because I miss my family so I want to talk about all kinds of things with my parents by telephone. For example, we talk about my studies, my part-time job, my Japanese friends, what happened in Japan, and so on. And I keep in touch with my friends by internet. In a word, I miss my country very much.

Two months was too short to do anything on my spring break, but I had a lot of fun and I felt relaxed. It was a great spring break for me
